The University of Georgia Panhellenic Council governs the female fraternities and sororities that are members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). It promotes cooperation and cohesiveness within the Greek community, oversees formal recruitment for its member groups, and sponsors community service opportunities, social events, and educational programs throughout the year.
There are currently 20 Panhellenic chapters recognized at UGA.

From the Panhellenic President

Welcome to the Panhellenic Council at the University of Georgia! Our community is comprised of 20 NPC organizations, excelling in the areas of leadership, philanthropic involvement, campus involvement, and academics. We are so proud of the many student leaders who are committed to serving the Panhellenic system by demonstrating the values and excellence we work to uphold on our campus. Sorority involvement continues to provide young women with the opportunity to be a part of the tradition of excellence UGA Greek Life strives to sustain.

I encourage you to look through our website to learn more about our recruitment process, our executive officers, our 19 individual chapters, and sorority life at the University of Georgia. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. We are all excited to tell you more about the organization we are incredibly passionate about!

Go Dawgs!

Promote Your Events and Recruit Volunteers

If you would like to promote an event or product or solicit volunteers, you may have the opportunity to speak at one of our council meetings. These spots fill quickly and Panhellenic reserves the right to choose who may speak at their meetings. Priority goes to speakers whose announcements are philanthropic and/or educational in nature. Please let us know you are interested.
